Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

GetStepSnap is for everyday image making: editing your own photos, product shots, portraits, cards, posters and art. This page spells out what isn't allowed. It is part of our Terms of Service, and it applies to everything you type, upload or make here.

What you can't make

  • Nudity, or sexual or sexually suggestive images of anyone.
  • Anything that sexualizes a minor. No exceptions.
  • Face swaps and deepfakes: putting a real person's face or body into an image they didn't agree to, or making a real person appear to do or say something they didn't.
  • Images that put a real person in a sexual, humiliating or misleading situation, or that pretend to be a real person or organization.
  • Images made from photos of other people that you don't have their permission to use.
  • Graphic violence or gore, self-harm, or anything that promotes violence or terrorism.
  • Hate, harassment, or attacks on people for who they are.
  • Fake documents, IDs, receipts or anything else meant to deceive or defraud.
  • Content that copies someone else's work, brand or likeness in a way you have no right to.
  • Anything illegal where you live.

How we check

  • Every prompt is checked automatically before an image is made, by the content moderation of Creem, our payment provider. If a prompt is blocked, nothing is made and no credits are used.
  • The companies whose AI models we run filter requests and results as well, so an image can still be refused after the prompt passed.
  • Trying to get around these checks, for example by rewording a blocked prompt to get the same picture, can get your account closed.

Report an image

If you see an image made with GetStepSnap that breaks these rules, or a picture of you that you didn't agree to, email support@getstepsnap.com and we'll look into it.
